British India. George VI Prooflike Restrike 2 Annas 1940-(C) PL62 NGC, Calcutta mint, KM541, S&W-9.115. Premium for the grade, with deeply mirrored fields and uniform color over both sides. There is significant ambiguity about many of the Indian restrikes, and as a result, the NGC insert, perhaps correctly, has recorded this as an issue from the "B" - Bombay - mint rather than Calcutta where the dies were originally used.
