CHINA--REPUBLIC. Bank of China. 1 Dollar, 1913. P-30es. Specimen. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
(S/M#C294-42) Without place name. This note is from a series which is sometimes regarded as one of the most beautifully designed notes from Chinese banking history. The note is seen with dual vignettes at left and right, with Emperor Huang-ti at left and hillside village at right. Beautiful under-printing graces the face with intricate multicolored central guilloche. Olive green bordering design and seen with solid zero serial number and specimen overprint at lower center. Without any distracting punch cancels or perforations. Striking original paper is welcomed along with terrific centering and margins. Certainly the finest we have handled for the design type. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.

Estimate: $1000.00- $1500.00
