CHINA--PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC. People's Bank of China. 10,000 Yuan, 1951. P-858Aa. PCGSBG About Uncirculated 50.
The only time this rare piece was offered in issued form was as a VF 20. That note hammered for over $150,000. This note is more than double that note in grading points. This 10,000 Yuan note, considered the most desirable of the first series of Renminbi, appears here with some very faint handling and minor folds, every bit worthy of the AU 50 grade. No major netting defects are present. The note was originally issued in Inner Mongolia and was not mass distributed. Herdsman with horses seen on the center of the face design, with a muted purple-maroon border and underprint. PCGSBG About Uncirculated 50.

Estimate: $100000.00- $150000.00
