Shanghai. This 10 Piastres Proof is seen in Gem New condition with orange vignettes of allegorical figures, elephants, and other animals making up the border surrounding the obligations. This ornate design matches the complexity of the other notes we are offering from the series, but serves as the lone 10 Piastres example. This, like the others, have not been offered before in our auctions. Punch through embossing present as if the note just came off of the press. Pack fresh originality. We believe this note will be a staple in even the most extensive collections of the Banque de l'Indo-Chine. PCGS Gem New 65 PPQ.
