CHINA--PROVINCIAL BANKS. Sikang Provincial Bank. 5 Yuan, 1939. P-S1741. PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent. Minor Restorations.
A very rare Provincial piece from Sikang Provincial Bank. Tibetan inscription on the reverse similar to the Half and One Rupee notes, although this piece says 5 Rupees at the upper right and lower left. This is the first of the type we have handled. A neat pairing to match the remainder we have in the following lot. PCGS mentions Minor Restorations in the comments section of the holder. PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent. Minor Restorations.
