CHINA. Collection of Qing Dynasty Cash Coins, ND (ca. 1644-1735).
Approximately 3,050 pieces in lot. A collection of early Qing Dynasty cash coins housed in eleven pocket page binders. Well organized with pieces from Emperors Shun Zhi, Kang Xi and Yong Zheng. The coins of Shun Zhi have pieces from two different mints, the coins of Yong Zheng from three different mints and the coins of Kang Xi eighteen different mints. As would be expected with an offering of this size duplication is present. Some coins with the green patina that comes with older bronze coins but many retaining their tan and brown color and are quite original. Some pieces with signs of light cleaning or tooling but overall a wholesome group. Close inspection is recommended. This lot may contain some forgeries. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. VARIOUS GRADES.
