With plugged suspension hole near top edge, very fine. Provenance - Robert Rose was convicted at Norwich Quarter Session, Norfolk, England and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He departed in July 1821 and arrived in New South Wales aboard the Hindostan on 24 November 1821. Robert Rose of Pitt-Town was granted a Ticket of Leave by notice of the Colonial Secretary's Office dated 7 March 1826.
