The Bank of Australasia, uniface black and white printer's proof on paper, one pound, Ipswich, 18.., (here or at Brisbane) imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, 'to this 31st July 1860' added in pencil at Manager's signature reserve (MVR 1). Glue marks on back corners, otherwise good extremely fine and very rare. Provenance - Ex Perkins Bacon Archive.
