Akarnania, Leukas (Colony of Corinth), (350-300 B.C.), silver stater, (8.56 g), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing flying to right, L below, rev. head of Athena to right in Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, with amphora and grapes and A behind head, (S.2281, Calciati 128 [p.426-7], BMC 87-88, SNG Cop.355). Toned, good very fine and very scarce. Provenance - Ex Agora Auctions sale 49, lot 28 with ticket.
