Tarkondimotos head right, wearing diadem, circle of dots, countermarked anchor on neck, rev. Zeus enthroned left holding Nike & sceptre, BASILEW[S] behind, [TA]PKONDIMO/TOY before, traces of FILANTWNIOU in exergue, (S.5682, RPC 3871, McClean 9135 (Pl.330, 11 p.304), BMC 1, (p.237), SNG Levante 1258, Lindgren 1656). Dark green and soil patination, very fine and rare. Provenance - Ex Dr Adrian Carr Collection and Noble Numismatics Sale 80 (lot 3220) in 2005.
