Republic, Anonymous, (c.217-215 B.C.), AE sextans (two unciae), (23.13 g), obv. Mercury head right in winged petasus two pellets above, rev. prow to right, above ROMA, below two pellets, (S.610, Cr.38/5, Syd.85, BMC 59). Attractive light green toning, good very fine - nearly extremely fine and scarce. Provenance - Ex RJM collection and CNG sale 37, lot 1231 with tickets.
