Janus head, C in left field, to right, rev. galley with pilot and three rowers, C.FONT ligated above, ROMA in exergue, (S.167, Cr.290/1, Syd.555, RSC Fonteia 1). Toned with some hoard patination, otherwise good very fine and scarce. Provenance - Ex RJM collection with ticket and Ponterio sale 74, lot 482.
