Dioscuri standing facing between their horses, each holding spear, L.MEM[MI] in exergue, (S.181, Cr.304/1, Syd.558, Memmia 1). Good very fine or better and very scarce. Provenance - Ex RJM collection with ticket and Robert T. Golan numismatics. This type may refer to the legend of the Athenian king Menestheus who drove Theseus from Athens with the help of the Dioscuri.
