T. Carisius, (c.46 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.70 g), obv. head of Aphrodisian Sibyl to right, border of dots, rev. Sphinx to right, around [T. CARISIVS] to right, in exergue III VIR, (S.446, Cr.464/1, Syd.983b). Off centre on obverse, banker's mark on forehead, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce. Provenance - Ex RJM collection with ticket and Colosseum Coin Exchange Inc.
