P. Clodius M.F. Turrinus, (42 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.95 g), obv. Apollo head laureate to right, lyre behind, dotted border, rev. Diana Lucifera standing facing holding two long torches, bow and quiver at shoulder, P CLODIVS before M.F. on left, (S.492, Sear Imperatorial 184, Cr.494/23, Syd.1117). Off centre on obverse with banker's mark on cheek, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare. Provenance - Ex RJM Collection with tickets.
