CHINA. Wang Mang Gold Key Money, ND. Wang Mang (A.D. 7-23). VERY FINE.
cf.H-9.12; cf.Jen-69; cf.FD-457. An interesting specimen which is only the top portion of a Wang Mang gold key which at some point has had the blade portion removed and that area smoothed to create a more standard round square hold cash coin. Tooling evident in the fields but the gold inlay is intact. VERY FINE.
