CHINA. Fengtien. Confucianism Morals Gilt Bronze Medal, ND (1926).
57 mm across the points. Barac-unlisted. Eight point, multi-rayed star with central medallion depicting a mythical beast; Reverse: Eight-line inscription arranged in a square around the center where the stub of the mounting pin remains. It appears there was once a retaining ring for the pin, now apparently missing, but the medallion remains firmly attached to the star. A 27 x 35 mm red with a central white stripe watered silk ribbon acts as a pin-back suspender for the medal. Housed in its fitted red presentation case. EXTREMELY FINE.
Estimate: $200.00- $300.00
