RIC 174 (R2). Apparently only the second specimen recorded after that in BM. Ex Triton VI,14-15 January 2003, lot 1011. The British Victory types of the Severan family are all extremely rare in gold. Technically a mule from an old obverse die, since the British Victory reverse type means that the emperors had accepted the title Britannicus which should have been recorded in the obverse legend.
