1795 1C Plain Edge, S-78, B-8, R.1, AU50 ANACS. Breen Die State IV, with a tiny break or chip under Liberty's chin. Faint clash marks are evident inside the left wreath branch and below TES OF. Given its status as the most plentiful 1795 large cent variety, the S-78 is an outstanding candidate for a date or type collection. Despite a small imperfection on the right obverse rim, this smooth light olive and chestnut-brown cent is an outstanding example for the grade. A few trivial planchet imperfections have no affect on the grade. Our EAC grade VF35.
