1852 1C N-16, R.1, MS66+ Brown PCGS. CAC. Several tiny die lumps on ONE CENT confirm the Newcomb variety. Glimpses of faded Red cling to the date and legends, while the high points and open fields are chocolate-brown. The surfaces are carbon-free and unabraded. A late die state with an "orange peel" textures throughout the fields. Our EAC grade MS62.
