Buffalo Nickels
1937-D 5C Three-Legged, FS-901, AU58 PCGS. CAC. Although less coveted than the 1918/7-D and the 1916 Doubled Die Obverse, the 1937-D Three-Legged nickel is undoubtedly the best-known variety of the Buffalo nickel series. The present satiny near-Mint example displays light to medium green-gold toning. No marks are apparent, but the bison's hip exhibits minor rub.
