An exceptional MS63 example of the irrepressible Three-Legged nickel, sharply struck on both sides with all of the confirming attributes that define this enduring classic variety. Other similar die anomalies exist, but none can surpass the Three-Legged 1937-D in numismatic lore. Wheat-gold and lavender accents occupy the crisply defined nooks and crannies of this attractive, bluish-gray Select Uncirculated nickel.
