Bust Half Dimes
1830 H10C V-8, LM-3, R.2, MS65 PCGS. The multicolor toning is deepest at the borders, suggesting old-time album storage. Shades of orange-gold are most vibrant at the centers, with gunmetal-blue toning at the peripheries and violet accents intervening wherever they find a foothold. A sharply struck Gem, with crisp star centers and only the faintest incompleteness at the eagle's wing shoulders. Marks are limited to a few faint field lines barely visible beneath the rich patina. Population (all varieties): 36 in 65, 29 finer (2/17).
