Bust Half Dimes
1836 H10C Small 5C, V-6, LM-5, R.2, MS65 PCGS. Star 1 and the N in UNITED are repunched. Both sides of this Gem half dime are extensively clashed. The surfaces are nearly fully brilliant and brightly lustrous with occasional wisps of champagne-gold color. The stars, curls, feathers, and olive leaves are as boldly struck as one may hope to find. Exceedingly rare in this high grade. Population (all Small 5C varieties): 13 in 65, 4 finer (2/17).
