Seated Half Dimes
1853-O H10C No Arrows -- Scratch -- Genuine PCGS. AU Details. The 1853-O No Arrows half dime has a small mintage of 160,000 pieces, and it appears that unissued quantities were melted by the New Orleans Mint. The issue is much scarcer than, for example, the 1849-O, which has a slightly smaller production. This lightly circulated half dime displays suggestions of peach-gold toning. Relatively unimportant marks on the upper obverse and the F in OF correspond to the PCGS notation.
