Seated Dimes
1887 10C MS67 PCGS. Fortin-Unlisted. The reverse is extensively cracked around the margin and both sides are noticeably die clashed (the E in DIME is especially evident to the right of Liberty's elbow), yet we do not see this particular die pairing listed in Fortin. More than 11.2 million dimes were struck in 1887, but only a handful qualify for this lofty grade. The surfaces display thick mint frost and are essentially brilliant, showing just the slightest hint of color. Well-defined throughout. Population: 6 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (2/17).
