1844 25C MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Although the 1844 is among the more plentiful pre-Arrows and Rays Seated quarter issues in high grade, it is still rare in Choice or finer condition. This Plus-designated piece displays a razor-sharp strike and satiny luster. Both sides have a dusting of lavender-blue and champagne color, with the obverse showing additional, mottled olive patina. Eye appeal is quite pleasing. Population: 7 in 64 (2 in 64+), 2 finer. CAC: 5 in 64, 2 finer (2/17).
