Barber Quarters
1902-S 25C MS64+ PCGS. A smallish mintage of just over 1.5 million pieces contributes to the scarcity of high-grade 1902-S quarters. This lightly toned, upper-end Choice Uncirculated example would be designated prooflike if not for some cloudy stone-gray toning in the right obverse field. Elsewhere, the coin displays brilliant, mirrorlike fields surrounding lightly frosted motifs. A crisp strike reveals only a few tiny marks. Population: 25 in 64 (1 in 64+), 24 finer (2/17).
