Early Half Dollars
1806 50C 6 Over Inverted 6, O-111, T-11, R.3, VF30 PCGS. Reverse rim cuds have not yet developed on this early die state. The chief feature of O-111 is the 6 Over Inverted 6 obverse, which commands a modest premium over other varieties of this date. Deep gunmetal-gray and olive-gold toning blankets each side of this well-detailed VF example, while some strike weakness is seen on the front of Liberty's bust and on the eagle's right (facing) wing.
