Bust Half Dollars
1827 50C Curl Base 2, O-146, R.2, MS62 PCGS. The 1827 has 49 die marriages, more than any other date of the Lettered Edge Capped Bust series. But among those 49 varieties, only two exhibit a Curl Base 2. They are O-146 and the very scarce O-147. This nearly white O-146 example offers sweeping luster, a good strike, and an unmarked appearance.
