Bust Half Dollars
1836 50C Lettered Edge, O-103, Low R.4, MS62 PCGS. The base of the 1 in the date is recut, as are stars 7 and 8. The claws above 50 are very thin. Possibly within the Condition Census for this very scarce variety. Lustrous, minimally marked, and well struck with rich golden-brown, ruby-red, and sea-green peripheral patina.
