Seated Half Dollars
1878-CC 50C WB-101, Die Pair 1, R.4, Fine 12 PCGS. Rich golden-brown and gunmetal-gray toning encompasses this moderately abraded example. Six letters in LIBERTY are present. Carson City abandoned the half dollar denomination in early 1878 to strike silver dollars. The '78-CC has a stingy mintage of 62,000 pieces.
