Proof Seated Half Dollars
1870 50C PR65 PCGS. This sharp Gem proof exhibits subtle cameo contrast on the obverse but is brilliant on the central reverse. Both sides display amber, violet, and ocean-blue border toning. The coin is beautifully preserved. A loupe reveals a few shallow planchet striations around Liberty's right (facing) shoulder. Population: 16 in 65 (1 in 65+), 4 finer (2/17).
