Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1934-S 50C MS65 NGC. Glimpses of pale ivory appear at the borders of this satiny Gem, yet the coin is essentially creamy-white with strong silver luster. The strike is sharp through the centers on both sides, an important factor when viewing the 1934-S. A few minuscule ticks on Liberty's leg are seen under a loupe, but the coin is essentially mark-free in all other areas. The eye appeal is exceptional. NGC lists just 49 numerically finer coins (2/17).
