Lincoln Cents
1922 1C No D, Strong Reverse, FS-401, AU55 PCGS. The strong second 2 in the date and the razor-sharp reverse indicate this cent was struck from Die Pair 2, the most-sought variety of this in-demand Denver issue with the Missing D. The obverse is smooth and lightly worn with only minor ticks on the high points, while the reverse retains nearly all of its pinpoint sharpness. There is no trace of the D mintmark. Housed in an old green label holder. Population: 92 in 55, 94 finer (2/17).
From The Martin Peterson Collection.
