Lincoln Cents
1985 1C MS68+ Red PCGS. It is extremely rare that a Lincoln cent from this period warrants a grade from PCGS as fine as MS68+ Red, but this piece fully deserves it. The coin appears virtually flawless even under magnification, and a 10x loupe scrutinizing every square millimeter of the surfaces finds microscopic imperfections that can be counted on one hand with fingers leftover. This glowing copper-orange 1985 cent is tied for the finest at PCGS. In fact, the first issue in the series that can usually be considered collectible in finer condition at PCGS is the 1999-D. Population: 41 in 68 (3 in 68+) Red, 0 finer (2/17).
