Early Dimes
1798/97 10C 16 Stars Reverse, JR-1, R.3, MS61 NGC. Medium lilac and sea-green colors embrace the obverse, and the reverse is also naturally patinated in golden-russet hues. Shimmering luster rolls across this undisturbed early dime. The coin is a bit softly struck on the central reverse, although other areas of the design are crisp, especially the right side obverse stars. Limited in grade by prominent mint-made adjustment marks on the portrait and date.
