Seated Quarters
1890 25C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Briggs 1-A. This high-grade, penultimate-year Seated quarter is essentially brilliant, with a hint of golden patina on each side. The strike is technically full, although lapping of the obverse die diminishes some of the lower-most relief portions of Liberty's gown. Booming cartwheel luster sweeps exceptionally well preserved, frosted surfaces. Plus-graded by PCGS and CAC endorsed, only one piece is reported finer at PCGS. Population: 24 in 67 (4 in 67+), 1 finer. CAC: 6 in 67, 1 finer (2/17).
