Standing Liberty Quarters
1926-D 25C MS64 Full Head PCGS. The 1926-D is notorious for having a flat head, weak shield rivets, and ill-defined stars along the right reverse border and on either side of the date. Some coins are found with better definition in one or two of these areas, but never in all. This Choice Full Head coin is sharp on Liberty's head and above-average on the shield, but the stars remain weak. Light golden toning graces satiny luster. The difficulty of finding a Full Head 1926-D in any grade should promote strong bidding on this example, housed in an older blue label holder. Population: 36 in 64 Full Head, 34 finer (2/17).
