1836 50C Reeded Edge, GR-1, R.2, AU50 PCGS. The tiny Guide Book mintage of 1,200+ pieces is a beacon call to collectors to accumulate examples of the 1836 Reeded Edge half, and many have done so over the years. This is a partly lustrous gunmetal-gray half dollar that has impressive sharpness and only a solitary consequential mark, to the left of the date.
