Walking Liberty Half Dollars
1947-D 50C MS67 PCGS. CAC. The final Walking Liberty half dollar from the Denver Mint is plentiful in most Uncirculated grades, but Superb Gems are scarce and are rarely seen with a CAC endorsement. This example is among the finest at PCGS. Satiny luster displays silvery mint-green interior toning on the obverse surrounded by a russet, crimson, and olive-green border. The reverse is primarily mottled golden-brown. Partial thumb separation is visible on Liberty's branch hand. Population: 43 in 67 (3 in 67+), 0 finer. CAC: 18 in 67, 0 finer (2/17).
