1873-S T$1 MS64 PCGS. A bright and flashy example, with loads of thick luster and a nearly full strike. Although 703,000 pieces were struck of the 1873-S Trade dollar, considerably fewer examples are known today as a large number were shipped to the Orient. In fact, the 1873-S is one of the two rarest issues in the series in Uncirculated condition and Gem examples are rare indeed. Population: 32 in 64 (1 in 64+), 4 finer (2/17).
