1880-S $1 MS68+ NGC. The 1880-S is one of the premier Morgan dollar issues for type representation, as coins can be located with ease through MS68. Comparably graded examples with a Plus designation are rare, however, and only a handful of MS69 dollars are known. This is an incredible, mark-free offering with fully brilliant surfaces, cartwheel luster, and complete strike characteristics. NGC shows five finer submissions (2/17).
