1900-O/CC $1 VAM-8A MS66 PCGS. A Top 100 Variety. Rust spots appear around the mintmark on VAM-8A. This is one of the scarcer die pairs that make up the 1900-O/CC Guide Book variety. All die pairs included, this issue is scarce in MS66 and extremely rare any finer, where PCGS records only two coins (2/17). This example is vividly toned on the obverse with lemon-yellow, pine-green, violet, and orange-gold, while the reverse displays more tradition rainbow peripheral toning around a brilliant interior. The usual strike weakness appears on the central high points.
