1888 G$1 MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Coruscating mint luster flows over immaculate peach-gold surfaces. A razor-sharp strike includes complete definition on the cotton bolls, denomination, and wreath elements. Small coppery alloy spots appear sporadically over the reverse. This was the widely saved penultimate issue in the gold dollar series from a mintage of 15,501 coins. Population: 58 in 67 (6 in 67+), 5 finer. CAC: 20 in 67, 4 finer (2/17).
