Indian Eagles
1912-S $10 MS63 PCGS. Not one of the San Francisco Mint's better efforts, the 1912-S eagle is an understandably formidable challenge to find in Select Uncirculated or finer conditions. This example displays nice luster across the finely granular surfaces, which are well-struck for the issue. The hair strands around Liberty's face are almost never bold, but they are reasonably defined on the present coin. Abrasions are small and grade-consistent. Pale-orange accents add eye appeal to the greenish-gold surfaces. Population: 85 in 63 (3 in 63+), 95 finer (2/17).
