Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1908-D $20 Motto MS65+ PCGS. Long Rays. All With Motto 1908-D twenties were struck from the Long Rays hub. This is a softly frosted example that exhibits even yellow-tinted gold color and shows very few abrasions. The strike details are strong overall. Of special note is the detail on the window panes of the Capitol building. The only area of softness is on the nose of Liberty. A high-end example of this briefly minted variant from the second year of production.
