Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1925-D $20 MS63 PCGS. The 1925-D was a victim of the mid-1930s gold melts, and many of the Mint State pieces known today can trace their origin to long-held European bank hoards. The issue is most often seen in MS63 and lower grades, with finer pieces being scarce. Soft rose and honey-gold luster blankets each side of this frosty representative, while the design elements exhibit overall sharp definition.
