1925-S $20 MS61 NGC. In a soon-to-be-published book on the series, Roger Burdette suggests a survival rate of 1,500 1925-S twenties, 1,200 of which survive in circulated condition to MS62. Nearly the entire production was melted, and finer Mint State coins are very scarce. Frosty S-mint luster swirls over this rose and wheat-gold twenty. Incompletely defined on the highest points. Marks are peppered over each side.
