1921 50C Alabama 2x2 MS67 PCGS. According to our records we have only offered 15 other MS67 examples of this rare, key issue since 1993. With a total of 14 MS67 coins certified from both services, that suggests we have offered each Superb Gem certified and a couple more than once (like this piece). This fabulous coin appears to have been perfectly preserved over the years. There are none of the distracting blemishes that usually plague most of the survivors of this key issue. Each side is also toned in rich, variegated shades of rose, golden, and lilac, plus the coin is sharply defined in all areas. An exemplary coin and tied with only seven others as finest known.
